Have any of you bought a mattress latley?Holey moley! I Bought a pillow top queen sz mattress and grand total was 2999.99!It will be delivered Wed afternoon.Im hoping this will be the very last one ever bought in my lifetime.I have been waking up with a horrible back ache for the last month.I sure hope this solves the problem

We need a new mattress, queen size, but will not be paying that much! They don't last as long as they used to.

As  a matter of fact we had a new queen size delivered this week.  A Stearns and Foster, with two pillows and a mattress protector, and it came to just under $2500. I had also been waking up with lower back pain and it seems better already.  It was more than I thought we would be spending but after trying out several mattresses we knew which one we wanted.  I'll bet you will be very happy with yours.

Enjoy your new mattress. Everything costs more!!!!!! But a good night sleep is worth the cost.

They used to say change every 10 years. Now they say 7. What did they tell you?

It's money well spent @Luvsmyfam to be able to get a good nights sleep and feeling good when you wake up.

I add - with some embarrassment - that our old mattress was close to 20 years old!  Hence the back ache.   It was a Sealy Posturepedic and truly didn't owe us any money.   The Stearns and Foster is warrantied for 10 years, which I thought was interesting.

A friend is also mattress shopping and is looking at Saatvas.  Also expensive but supposed to be good.

Many years ago my father said if you need a matress buy Stearns and Foster. I love mine. Hope you like it.

I had an expensive pillow top queen size mattress, it felt great at the store but I found I sunk into it causing terrible back pain so returned it for an old fashioned flip mattress, love it & its price.

@Luvsmyfam Yes, I purchased a Stern and Foster mattress about a year ago and it is right up there in the price range you mentioned. Worth the price for a good night sleep!
