Re: NEUTRAL LOOKS THAT STILL HAVE INTEREST

I've always chosen neutrals for my rooms.  I want to come home to relaxing neutrals.  I add color with changes of pillows now and then and wall decor.

Re: NEUTRAL LOOKS THAT STILL HAVE INTEREST

This is the most fun for me, when there is so much diversity of viewpoint, the answers run the gamut.  E.g., Some don't care for black, some love black, etc.  Shows what a wide variety of people there are here, many of whom care passionately about their surroundings.

Thanks also to posters who take time to detail and describe likes and dislikes, their own rooms, etc. --  huge fun to read!

I didn't like any of the options so guess I'd have to say zero to all.

Re: NEUTRAL LOOKS THAT STILL HAVE INTEREST

None of them are of interest to me, not my style.  I guess what is considered color added to a room is not what I call adding color.

Re: NEUTRAL LOOKS THAT STILL HAVE INTEREST

I love Neutral rooms, and decorate mostly neutral with a pop of color added....I don't necesarily like heavily decorated rooms with tons of color-too busy for me in a lot of instances....

I think with Neutral, its easy to add to to get a little color for some depth or warmth if you need to!

I really like almost all of the spaces you have shown..

Re: NEUTRAL LOOKS THAT STILL HAVE INTEREST

This was a surprise--  after a fair number of responses, there ar more "neutrals" here, or at least, neutral-leaners or 'neutral-open" posters than I would have expected from past comments in the forum.   I would have guessed there wouldn't be more than oh, a dozen, maybe.

I made the mistake of putting up neutral spaces though without trying to balance them between more spare, minimalist spaces and more decorated, maximalist ones.   If I had, there might even be more people leaning neutral, but some just didn't like what they consider to be too-crowded spaces...  I'll try to pay more attention to that the next time!

Is it still a neutral room if there are striking accessories that are colored, like the vintage glass decanters, below?

Quite possibly my favorite here.  Doesn't try too hard.

Re: NEUTRAL LOOKS THAT STILL HAVE INTEREST

Our home has warm neutral walls and we jazzed it up by buying furniture and area rugs with contrasting color. I think it works great.
