vintage wood desk with typewriter

I bought a typewriter like this from my high school when they were selling them very cheap.  I use it in my foyer because most of our friends/relatives know I like to write, albeit not on a 1950s typewriter, but I love the statement it makes.

I adore the statement a vintage typewriter makes too, @Nonametoday --  love the way the other objects are combined with it in that picture too.  Immediately strikes a mood.

@Nonametoday   I, too, have a vintage typewriter in my foyer. (not the same as in the picture).  I have it surrounded by old books and vintage reading glasses.

@Nonametoday  I love your retro vignette! I learned on Royal and Olympia uprights. To this day I can't stop pounding on my Logitech keyboard. And, yes, I need a separate keyboard for my laptop. My fingers just can't take it easy. Hahaha!

It would be the same way you dust your couch, upholstered chairs and lampshades.  Weekly, right?
