MTH- THanks for letting me know about the white bunnies and the chicks - I did get the PB ducklings a couple weeks ago - I think you and I maybe talked about it to each other....if not, I am losing my mind!{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

JPC - Thanks for letting me know -I will have to make a stop there sometime!

Hi Kel: Yes you and I did talk about those PB ducklings. I love mine. I still have my eye on the chicks as they are now on sale. Maybe they will come down a little bit more!!! The white bunnies from P1 are great. They fit in Valerie's wire apothecary jars.

Are these the ones on Pier's website called small and medium bunny? I think one is around 3.95 and the other is 6.95? Those are really cute. I am going to Pier 1 next weekend so I will have to check them out if they still have them.

Yup that's them. I have one of each size and then I also bought the "floppy eared bunny". Not sure he is still on the website but I love him. He is too big for the apothecary jar. I have him on my mantle. I bought some purple ribbon and tied a bow around both of the white bunnies. I may go back and get more as they can be tucked into all kinds of places and they are certainly cheap enough. I also bought P1s speckled eggs (the ones that come in the egg carton). I think they were about $7 for a dozen and those are the ones I have in the bottom on my apothecary with one of the bunnies. The colors really work with the pewter jar.

I'm gonna try to hit Joanns tomorrow and see if I can get that egg wreath everyone was discussing, the sparkly one. They don't have the moss one at my store anymore.

Pretty wreaths, ladies. I was in JoAnn Fabrics today and forgot to look at their wreaths. I just looked online and for those who love mercury glass, have you seen this one? It sure looks pretty in the online photo. It is called Holiday Inspirations Vintage Colored Easter Eggs Wreath- (it is 50% off, but still is $39.99) Kind of pricey!! Description: Jazz up your home interiors with the Holiday Inspirations Vintage Colored Easter Egg Wreath. It features a cluster of colorful decorative eggs tied together with a glittering material. Use this shining egg wreath to enhance the look of your living room wall, entrance door, the space...

Kel: I'm sure the eggs you already have will be fine. Don't want to overdo it. You can check on the P1 site if your store has the bunnies. There is an option to see store inventory for each product so you will know if it is worth your time to go all the way there. If they don't have it, maybe you can just order. A few times a week, they keep offering different coupons on the website so maybe you will get free shipping or even a percent off to cover the shipping charges.

Morning kel,

If you want the bunnies and don't want to miss out, you could call the store and get them and they will hold them for you. Just have to pay for them on the phone and they will be there when you get to the store. I have done that with several things because my P1 is an hour away. That way I don't make the trip for nothing.

those are cute bunnies. I got their catalogue the other day and they were in there.

Have a great one

JPC

MTH-JPC - I just checked my Pier one store and they have a TON of bunnies... usually my store around me keeps there stuff in stock pretty well. THanks JPC for letting me know that in case in the future I want to do that - I never knew they did that... I for sure know Target doesn't!!! wanted something there once and I offered to pay it over the phone and they absolutely will not.

I am glad you told me about these bunnies MTH - THey really have cute faces! which one did you put in the apothecary ?? you said they BOTH fit, one at a time??

I was lucky to get an as-is whitwash jar this morning. I think it may go better, but we will see....

So glad you will be able to get the bunnies. I started out with the smaller one and then added the speckled eggs but then switched it to the larger one. Talk about decisive!!!! I could have put both but then I didn't have enough room for the eggs and the eggs added some color that I wanted. So now i keep switching the bunnies out depending on how I feel in the morning. They each rotate between the jar and my mantle. I didn't get very good Easter grass so next year I want to add better looking grass which i think will round out the look. Then I'll probably stop switching the bunnies so much.

MTH_ I need to get some grass now for these bunnies. I am thinking something natural looking like SHOPR's she had in her pics. I am almost thinking I might like my whitewash jar better, but I am glad both are coming to me so I can decide. I have to be honest, when everyone was first discussing the wire jars on here, I didn't really give them a thought. Then I saw SHOPR's pics and everyone saying what they wre doing with theirs, and I kind of had second thoughts!!

I like the natural grass too. The grass I have is kind of cheap looking. I wanted the grass at PB but by the time I made up my mind, they were sold out. My fault for waiting so I ended up with that cheapy stuff. At this point, I probably won't go crazy trying to find it anymore but will have to get something better for next year. After Easter, my lemons/limes are going in it for summer.
