Hi
I have a tile floor and I have been using a steam mop and a swiffer to clean it. I think its time to get out the old fashioned mop/bucket and a good floor cleaner. Any suggestions. I have lots of nooks and crannies that seem dirty to me.
Thanks Everyone

Mr. Clean has always worked for me.

What about the wand like steamer that the Q has sold to do the nooks and crannies ? It would save your back with the mopping.

@disneynut57 I bought the Yocada Sponge Mop for Commercial and Home Use for $21.88 on Amazon and it is wonderful!! Telescoping handle and dry wringer make it so easy to use. It gets into corners pretty well, but sometimes you just have to get down on your hands and knees unfortunately.

I like the O Cedar wring and go mop and bucket and use pinesol.

My new steam mop is a Bissel and the mop head pops off and there's a smaller brush attached for corners, under cabinets, behind toilets and sinks.
It works great and just uses distilled water. My dog looks for crumbs in the floor so I feel better without cleaner.

I know a lot of people love their steam mops. I had a Shark and Dirt Devil and was not impressed with either one. I do a better job with a bucket of water and an old rag or sponge.

I use this with my Mopnado (a spin mop system). I have used it for years. I, too, have a steam mop and use it once a week. But every once in awhile, the floor needs a good cleaning with hot water and detergent, and this is what I use.

Even with vacuuming and using a mop, sometimes the corners just need some work. Now I know why I used to have to talk to my mom's and grandma's fannies.

I have multiple types of floor surfaces and swear by my steam cleaner. Perhaps you need a new one? If you want a manual mop then I recommend the Don Astlett microfiber mop. There are all types of pads (washable) for the needs of the different floors. I like this becaue the mop head is larger than a traditional mop head or duster head. I've used mine both with a bucket of water and/or spritzer the floor or mop head. Works well.
