None of these are exactly what I have or would want. I prefer some contrast and pops of color. I like warm tones so #5 & #11 are ok, but I don’t like everything the same color. I like #1, but would have to “warm it up” some. My current kitchen has white cabinets with darker counters, tile backsplash, & floor.

My kitchen is similar to #11, but my cabinets are a lot darker. I really like #4. It is very bright and fresh looking.

Overall, I'm not a fan.  I like some contrast normally done with the backsplash.  Kitchen #2 comes the closest.

That's what I did with my backsplash.

What do think of these examples?

I prefer to think of the choices as high contrast and low contrast.

A kitchen, by it's nature, is a visually "busy" room- therefore, I favor low contrast.

My previous home's kitchen, which I designed and had installed, was like pic #5, which I loved. My present kitchen, which I renovated, has a color palette chosen from the backsplash: gray & white. Gray & white marble countertops, white painted cabinets with nickel pulls, blue-ish gray painted walls with white trim and blinds and stainless appliances. Low contrast.

I do not favor a monochromatic kitchen. Either too sterile white or too much of a color that probably will not stand the test of time. It will be a LONG time, if ever, before I redo my kitchen again.

When I redid my previous kitchen I remember advice I read at the time, which holds true for my eye, at least: Of the floor, countertop and backsplash, choose not more than one in a pattern or contrast color or they will visually compete with each other. Too many focal points/ too busy.

That first one is like my kitchen! I like it best. 🤣  These are all nice if you like a darker  kitchen.

I love the monochromatic look, especially the clean and bright white.

I like the ones with natural wood tone cabinets.

I like the first 4. I don't care for white kitchens. Hate the countertops & backsplash in the 2nd kitchen.

I need to figure out what style/color cabinets I want. I can't wait to redo our kitchen. Need to go talk to someone to find out how much & can all the stuff they need to complete the job be bought right now?

Not tearing up my kitchen until we know we have what we need. We use the kitchen every day.

Waiting to see what happens with Covid?

If it's not light & bright I don't want it. No dark stuff in my kitchen.

The blue kitchen is very niice but I would eliminate the island and those very uncomfortable looking stools.  I Also like numbers 5 and 11.
