Not really.  Too much black, don't like the sink being in the island where you eat and the chairs look uncomfortable.  A pass for me.

It's clean and uncluttered but lacks warmth and character.  It just depends on what's important to a user.

I'm mixed on this one .. best feature to me is that beautiful black framed "open (no grids)" window.  If the cabinets were lighter I'd like them much better.  The counter & backsplash are nice.  I don't care for the metal ceiling lights.  NO to open shelving. They'd be nicer if they were a glass bulb.  I also like the clean lines of this room.

(edit:  I also agree about the sink - should be at the counter where the window is.  Everyone likes to look out while cleaning dishes.)

Yes. The lighter color wood offers contrast and keeps it from being too dark. Especially like the silver light fixtures.
