Hi SHOPR...I am sure your dinner will be wonderful and you all will and are having a great time. But that would send me into panic mode if I hadn't planned on having it. I'll bet those reindeer look so good in front of your ceramic tree. When I look at mine, I smile and think about your mom finding the ones she had and now they are making their home at your house. Is this one you have had a long time or one you just acquired??? I didn't get mine out this year and really miss it so it will be coming out next year. I haven't been on much myself but have missed you when I have been here. mallemo has been absent too. Hope she is having a good holiday season. See you after the 1st, hopefully things will have settled down for you by then.

AuntG...I also am taking a break before I have to get serious about the cooking. I forgot that the boards were shut down last year. Glad then decided to keep them open this year so we could check in when we have time. Have a good one AuntG.

Hi JPC, sorry for the long delay in replying. My ceramic tree is an old one (green, 20" tall) I picked up at a garage sale years ago. It says Byron Mold 1972 on the bottom, so I figure someone probably made it in 70s or 80s and just got tired of it and sold it.

This year I put the ceramic tree on a small table just inside the main door we use. I left it on throughout the day and until bedtime almost every day, and we enjoyed it very much. It gives off a nice bright light through the bulbs. I hope you enjoy yours even more than usual next year since you went without it this year.

Almost forgot...The Christmas dinner at our home went very well. :-)
