Mercury Glass Birds?

Are the Mercury birds hazardous in any way like the light bulbs. I would love to order them, but have nothing in Mercury glass and wonder if anyone has broken something in it.

Hi glorybe, I've heard them say it is just made to look like MG. I don't think there's any mercury in them. I have a lot of these MG pieces.

Thank you so much for answering my question. I just went on the waist list for the pearl ones. Now I am going to have to look at other MG stuff, lol

Have fun. I really like all my MG pieces. I actually bought a MG pedestal at TJMaxx yesterday because it was larger than the Valerie ones that I have and it gives me more options to use them. MG is every where now, it seems. I hope you will enjoy yours.
