Mallemo-Shopko Halloween lanterns

I was able to check these out for you today. First of all, they are NOT metal, but hard plastic. I don't think they are worth the original $24.99 for that reason, but at the sale price I would consider them, if I decorated for Halloween. (I just do Fall)

They are 14" tall to the top of the ring and 5" wide at the base. They have a plastic candle with a bulb inside and take 3 AAA batteries which are included. They are completely sealed at the top, so no rain or moisture can get in, but I don't think I would put them out in the rain because the moisture could damage the batteries. They would be fine on a covered porch or even hanging from a shepherd's hook as long as the weather was good. JMO.

My favorite was the one with the owls and Jack-o-lanterns. It doesn't "Scream" Halloween (pun intended) and could be used in Fall decor also, I think. HTH
