I was just at Target this a.m. and saw the display of the Magnolia products, however, too many people milling around, so I'll have to check it out another time when the store is less crowded.

I agree that I think Chip is attractive both with and without the beard, I like his personality and his obvious great love for his wife.  I always found a sense of humor to be a very valuable part of a person's traits.  I know a lot of people don't like his "goofyness" on the show, but I'm a sucker for a guy that makes me laugh or smile!

I don't get where Chip is funny unless you mean "funny" like a child is. He seems very immature which speaks volumes about her.

Please stop with negativity -- there is surely enough in this world.  So Chip likes to goof around -- so what?  They have 4 beautiful children together.  It's about their products at Target.  I should have never waited for that garland.  They had it this morning and now it's sold out.  It did order one vase that I will pick up at Target if they still have it.  You know how that goes.  Cat Tongue

It's a reality show....so I am sure they are told by the producers to yuk it up for ratings.....

I read part of their autobiography and a camera crew was there to audition them for a show and Chip shows up with a decrepit houseboat to renovate for them to live in.  It was their interaction over that event that won them the show, so I think most of what they do is pretty authentic.

As far as their merchandise at Target goes, it's not my style, but I did buy some green and black watch plaid napkins and placemats.  I thought the quality of the items looked better on the website.

I don’t understand the popularity of these people. Not my taste, and the husband is just ridiculous.

i was in our local Target yesterday, and saw the items myself. I thought most of it was cheaply made China stuff. Common. I’ve seen many similar items in other places, and at lower prices. But I guess with their names on it, they can charge more for these Chinese antique reproductions.

Do yourself a favor and go spelunking at flea markets and yard sales, you will find the same originals.

I'd like to see it in person! I think Chip seems like a fun guy, and he certainly seems to really love his wife and seems to be a great father......My daughter has been to their store in Waco, and she said they had some very nice things there......My mom and I will probably check it out one day soon!

JUst noticed that Chip and Johanna from Fixer Upper have a line of home goods at my local Target. Seems like some nice things. The photo has Chip with a beard. Frankly he looks awful in it. I never understood why a refined and elegant woman like Johanna would find him attractive. He is such an egomaniac. Can't stomach him.

I love the show and I like the both of them but, him not so much with the beard and longer hair.   And the night he ate the roach, I just about lost it.

I'm not particularly interested in their products, but I find them both likable. I'm sure the network does have them do a little "acting" for their show. I think Chip is cute but prefer him without the beard.
