I don't own any pieces from this line because they are beyond my budget, but find the shows entertaining. Since they are very collectible, I am wondering about the resale prices on gently-displayed pieces. Could the pieces available on QVC be resold at a higher-end site like Poshmark?

@deepwaterdotter You could go to Poshmark and see what is available and what they are asking for items. I often go to Ebay and check "Completed Listing" to see what has actually sold and for what price.
I watched one MC show and saw the most beautiful pink pumpkins. They were gorgeous but 1) doesn't go with my decor and 2) just too pricey so didn't purchase.

I was going to suggest eBay, too. I don't know how the pricing is though.

Things often don't appreciate in value until long after they're purchased, if at all. So it's hard to guess what will happen in the future.
Just look at all the collectibles the Q used to sell that are now worthless. People can't even give them away. Manufactured products are produced in large quantities so they never really become "rare".

The Cabbage Patch doll syndrome.
The Beanie Babies syndrome.

Prices on MacKenzie Child pieces are absolutely ridiculous on eBay. Would not buy and plus they want you to pay abt $20 in shipping . Look on Mackenzie Childs website on " Sale " items . With any collectible, you have to wait and find the right buyer if you think you'll get your investment back

I have seen pieces of MK at consingment shops and they are still VERY expensive and overpriced.

Have to agree with others. Mackenzie- Childs will be worthless. Not that it's not pretty, cute, fun, and interesting to look at. It is fad/trend. If you tire of it your children, family members will look at is like junk in years to come. Much of this generation are more into minimalism.

I tend to agree with you @hopi
You buy M-C pieces because you enjoy them, not for their resale value.
