Wow, @QVCisFun , you went above and beyond! I love all the examples and similar motifs that you managed to find, good work!
I've hunted too, in spare moments. A fantastic online resource is "EAPGS ( early American pattern glass) Pattern Index". They have different motifs you can plug in to a finder, in hopes of bringing up the correct pattern.
That's worked with most of my other 8 or 9 pieces, but not with this rascal. I've plugged in different motifs like "ribbed", "plumes or feathers", "arches/crescents" --- and come up empty.
Once on my own I once found a pattern called "Admiral" or ribbed ellipse, but it has only a few points of similarity to my piece. It's clearly not the same pattern--
Still have a few other avenues for investigation. Thanks a mill for trying!

I have checked the EAPGS site from the time you mentioned in it your original post, and many times since then. It is a nice resource.
I came across the "Admiral" vase too, in my online travels.
It has been a fun project and I am still working on it, as it appears you are too. Good. Maybe we will come up with something. Meanwhile, I'm having fun looking, reading, learning new things. For example, recently came across a new (to me) word: muffineer.

@QVCisFun , I'd not really encountered muffineers before either. There sure were some pretty ones out there:

@Oznell :
Still haven't found who the manufacturer is of the mystery glass, but found this listing that has one for sale. There are photos and a detailed write-up of the item. Lots of descriptive terms that could be helpful to further research who the manufacturer is, if so inclined...
The listing is at www.etsy(dot)com . Once on that site, if you type in the search bar VINTAGE CLEAR PRESSED GLASS SPOONER VASE SLANT RIM SUGAR SCUTTLE TWO HANDLED, the item should hopefully come up as the first item of many items that come up. Click on the item. Once on the item page, click on "view full item details" (it is right below the "OVERVIEW" paragraph) to read what the shop person had to say about it.
This is the listing and photo on her site (more photos in the listing):

Great work, thanks so much, @QVCisFun -- I will investigate it, and let you know!

@Oznell :
You're welcome! I looked around some more, and didn't come up with anything, but I'll keep trying. Hopefully you will have better results.

No matter what these pieces are called or what they are made of, they are beautiful!!!! What a great find! As a Lover of antiques, I miss my visits to antique stores, thrift stores etc. but I stopped adding to what I have as I have enough!!!! However, I do get the urge to browse these stores if just to see beautiful things!!! Thanks for sharing photos of these lovely pieces!

@QVCisFun , well, I tried too, using some of the terms in various combinations that that seller used. I thought maybe "scuttle" might lead us somewhere, but I also came up empty. Rats. Thanks again for your efforts! It may just pan out at some point when we are least expecting it...

Oh, yeah, @spiderw , you especially, with your interests, must not give up browsing! I get half my fun from just poking around antique stores, looking and not buying. Great spectator sport! It's the same kind of exhilarating feeling you get in bookstores or libraries, just being around the good stuff.

Oznell, I couldn't agree more!!! You just cannot give up something you love and have loved for decades!!! I love going to book stores as I do antique stores and it all lifts my spirits and puts a smile on my face!!!!
