I need to purchase a new dishwasher. I read through previous threads here about what others bought, what to look for, etc.

When I went shopping, I learned in order for the heat dry cycle to actually dry the dishes, you must use Jet Dry. The salesperson insisted that all companies are manufacturing dishwashers so they do not work optimally without it. I googled and saw a few things stating the same.

New dishwasher owners, are you finding this to be true?

What did you end up buying? Would you repurchase?
