Re: MOUNTAIN BROOK, ALABAMA KITCHEN

Just beautiful @Oznell!  The only change I feel that would make it even more so is change out the metal stools. I think the window/sink area is spectacular.

Re: MOUNTAIN BROOK, ALABAMA KITCHEN

It's OK but is a little too Neutral for me.  The island is beautiful but I'd think that reeded work on it would be a nightmare to keep clean on a regular basis.  I'm not in love with the island seating and I don't think it works well in the kitchen either.  The aubergine color is beautiful but is too much of a contrast with the rest of the kitchen.  The whole kitchen area is giving me night and day vibes.

Re: MOUNTAIN BROOK, ALABAMA KITCHEN

very nice and I am surprised I do like the pendant lights, I would change out the stools though. The nook is too dark for me, I do love the color but maybe a lighter backsplash/counter would help...

I like it too, especially that it appears not to be a stark white but more creamy---is that right? And I adore that rich, dark color for the bar nook!!! And kind of love the curtains at the kitchen sink too.

I don't care for the kitchen, but I love that serving nook.  (In spite of the "angry" stone.)

Love, love, LOVE the Range and the Pot Filler ♥

But those Pendant Lights would have to go...

I cook (at least 2 meals) almost every day, and keeping them from getting cloudy and greasy would be a bear. Smiley Frustrated

Re: MOUNTAIN BROOK, ALABAMA KITCHEN

That's right, @wagirl ,  it's a warm, off-white, not a sterile stark white.  Reminds me of "Ballet White" or "Cloud White",  "Swiss Coffee", etc.  Easy on the eyes.

I don't care for the pendants, stools, and curtains.

This kitchen is missing something for me but I can't put my finger on what I don't like about it.
