MORE SHEET PRBLEMS.... I think about

Since house cat mentioned her sheet problems, it reminded me of the problems I have:

1.Double bed, regular older mattress and now, most fitted sheets have a very large mattress depth, so my bed winds up very wrinkled and baggy. each morning.

2.I also hate trying to find the top or bottom of the sheets. I should have bought stripped sheets only, so I could easily figure it out.

3. Trying to fold a fitted sheet is a skill I have have never mastered in spite of trying. Even tho I have watched Martha Stewart on You tube. I lack the necessary talent. My linen closet looks greyt, except for the heaps of messy, fitted, sheet balls laying on top of the flat sheets all neatly folded into piles.

Well, that's enough complaining, but only for today...

My mil will spend Alot of time folding her fitted sheet. I was with her Yestauday will she was folding clothes. My wife and I don't fold fitted sheets we basically roll them up and that's good enough for us.

Re: MORE SHEET PRBLEMS.... I think about

If I was at your home I could show you how to easily fold a fitted sheet.

You can do this width-wise or length-wise. Fold the sheet in half and invert one pocket, tuck it into the one it's next to. DO this at both ends. Then fold the sheet in half again and repeat.

This process is really easy, I think maybe folks make harder than it really is.

If need be, lay the folded on your bed, fold in half, invert one pocket into its mate, do this at the other end of the sheet and repeat. FOld sheet in half and repeat.

DONE!

Roll them up in a ball, really?????????????????????  @Pooky1

Fresh clean linens don't deserve to just be rolling them up in a messy ball, wrinkled as all get-out. Sorry but THIS IS NOT THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After I fold the sheets per MS I roll them up,length wise, easier to find in the linen closet.

@FlatbushFor #2 - If there is a tag on the sheet, it is usually at one corner. I put that corner at the top left. If no tag, then I use use a tiny safety pin to mark it.

#1 - Don't they have something like "bed suspenders" that you can clasp the extra fabric together at the corners in order to keep everything taut?

@Flatbush

Yep, folding fitted sheets is another reason I despise them. I've watched numerous videos on how to fold them and I still can't figure it out. It probably doesn't help that I'm 5' tall, with the armspan of a T-Rex, so dealing with king or queen sized sheets is pretty comical, at best.
