I had an Aunt and Uncle who lived in a high rise downtown Chicago for most of their life, and they loved it-it was so pretty and the views you could just sit and stare for hours......

I love it. I could live there. I love the windows. It might be scary when the wind is howling, but I think they are safe.

With all that light coming in I doubt it is as dark as the photos show.

I love the artwork. It is magnificent.

My only fear in a high rise is fire. Trying to get out must be terrifying.

Once upon a time, I worked for a psychologist for a few weeks while his nurse was out.  He and I talked about high-rises and acrophobia.  He said many people who are forced to live in and some who just visit there have just fear of acrophobia that they jumped in order to rescue themselves. It never ends well.  The psychologist friend passed a little while back, one of the psychologists who had earned his wings.

Personally, it is not my taste.  But, if it were my condo I would be proud to show it off.  I like the black and white and ooh, her taste in art.   i think the bedrooms are both very inviting.  Like I said, I would be proud of it.

I agree while it's not my style I think it's her style and is done very well.

I always love when people just go for it and decorate their homes how they want and are apologetically themselves.

I love to see different "out of the box" styles. Love it!

Also, those views are everything!

Not much here that is my style. It gives me a bit of a lived in hotel/office vibe. My least favorite thing is the artwork. Don't like any of it, especially the 2 large faces. I'm not afraid of heights, but I wouldn't want floor to ceiling windows.

The first thing I thought of when I saw those windows was Eric Clapton's little son. He wrote "Tears in Heaven" as a reference to his death. I couldn't see anything that looked cozy, inviting, or warm...I prefer a space that looks like someone lives there.
