Auntg I'm not afraid of mice but I much prefer them to be out side where they belong.I have had rodents as pets but because I wanted them. When I was little we had hamsters. When I was older and a few different times Guinea pigs, and a few rabbits. My wife was a nanny for two boys and when they were in school and they went away there parents would pay my wife to watch there cats and hamster. One of the kids took out the hamster and put it on my wife and she said to the kid it's nice so please put it away. I found it quite funny. To her it was like a mouse. Needless to say while animals were with us I took care of the hamster and the dad told my wife well  the life exspectency is two years and its way older than that. she said oh great if it dies hear he will think I killed His hamster but it did survive. Just thought I would tell that story being were on the rodent subject.

 MICE  😤

Been organizing my garage to be moved this month--found a couple shopping bags that had tiny little poops in it--didn't even think much about it really--didn't register for some reason --this was about 2 weeks ago--anyway, started feeling unwell with weird symptoms that I usually don't have--not the flu or rsv or covid--and wasn't getting much better after week 2. And it hit me--hanta virus maybe ?----- was working without gloves or face mask but there was no sweeping to cause a dust cloud but still there was dust from just moving and being there. Read up on hanta and there were alot of symptoms that I was experiencing--- so went to the local Urgent Care--not the ER---and got bloodwork done  for hanta as well as chest exrays and a total blood workup too. That test result will take a few days to get,  but dr didn't think I had it, as my lungs, respiratory, heart rate and breathing were  normal, no fever or breathing issues. That is what kills---hanta attacks the respiratory system. ---That's all I need to interfere with the gigantic moving task---got the full blood labs back--everything is normal, EXCEPT my peace of mind!!~!

Exterminator for sure !!! We had a similar issue 10 years ago, tried all the home remedies. finally called the pros and took a contract with them, they come out every 3 months and do an inspection in and outside of house, worth every penny. Peace of mind.

My outdoor cat has brought me a small mouse and a 6 inch rat, both dead. I have never seen any in the house. I also have an indoor cat but he has never brought me any critters.
