I like it!  Not sure if its the way the breakfast nook was photographed but it looks a little small to me.  Love the front porch too.  Not sure about the color used on the house though.

Re: MICHIGAN KITCHEN

[ Edited ]

@Oznell This kitchen brought back memories of days gone by.  We had 2 rather elderly women who lived next door. One was a widow and the other never married. Mrs.  C was terrified of thunder storms and her companion worked nights so whenever there was a storm.... my sister and I took turns spending  the night at their house which was very much like this minus a canary!

To top is off we were very spoiled by these  neighbors. Treats, a bed with heating pad for our feet, funny tv. (such as Hazel)  and  Christmas presents, birthday presents, etc. There home was, imo, one of the most beautiful in the neighborhood and sister and I loved being there!

 Thanks for the memories!

Very nice. I like it. I like the dark countertop and floor with the white cabinets. Similar to my kitchen. We've had white cabinets for over 20 years. I don't see myself ever getting rid of them. We have changed the hardware on the cabinets.

The eating nook seems a little cramped. Not as crazy about the floral valance, but it's ok. I would probably change it with the seasons.

I also love the front porch, but I don't like the exterior color of the house.

I really like the kitchen and the exterior of the house. Is there a way to see more of it?

@kehaara ,  you can google --   A Rogue Element in Every Room Pulls This Michigan Cottage's Many Patterns Together  ---    and it will pop up.

I don't mind the size of that kitchen-- but to me, there is way too many big cabinets shoved together, that cabinet with the curves is so over sized  ---makes me feel closed in--not a fan of the hardware either and with the beams in the ceiling-- feels like it is very low. The valance thing on the window, needs to go. I am not a fan of all white anywhere--needs to be just an accent for me. The little eating nook is cute---

Love the outside photo of this home....even the lavender color is working for me LOL!  The porch and plants...gorgeous.

Never had a white kitchen...it looks very pretty but do not like the black counter tops so much.  The tulip window valance is a no for me...to busy.

I went to the site and saw the other rooms there....I love the emerald green sofa.  Some of the wallpaper is just to much for me.

Very nice expansive window portal to the outside world.   The tulips (fabric and real) and other splashes of color throughout the kitchen look good on the white background.

Went to the website to see the rest of the house - surprised there was consensus for some of those room designs.  Wondering how they avoid getting motion sickness.

I really like the bright prints in this particular kitchen. If anything, I'd want a smaller window
