Has anyone purchased these candles and have remote issues?

I have the pinecone version (did not purchase from QVC)

Unless I am literally on top of the candle, the remote does not work AND one flame moves the other is stationery!!

Is this the only remote you have?  If you send me your address I will slip you a new remote in an envelope I have extras

@mollymaggie....thank you...yes, I do have a couple others but with all remotes I have tried I still have to be on top of the candle for it to work....I can just put it on timer to make work.

...thank you so much for your generous offer.

@Mom2Dogs

I have these and usually leave them on the timer. I just went and tried the remote and I had to get within two feet or less for the remote to work also.

I thought maybe the battery was getting low so I tried a brand new remote, well it didn't work any better so it looks like that's a issue with these. But I'll just keep mine on the timer, they are just so adorable.

But I know that would be very annoying if you want to use with remote.

The flames do move on both of mine. Hope this helps.

I didn't care for the remotes.  I've found you have to be close.  That's useless to me, so I keep them on the timer.  I have a drawer full.  Maybe they'll be worth money one day.

Try different batteries in the one that won't move.  If that doesn't help, move around the wick.  Take a good look at how the wick is situated in the one that works and verify the other looks exactly the same.  I usually get a stuck one going again.

@GCR18, If I keep them I will have to leave on the timer, now I have to decide to keep or return because the one flame does not work...

@Mom2Dogs Ah.  I was having posting issues.  Haha.  If you can exchange, do that.

I have found with all my flameless brands that respond to remotes (many BL candles respond to the Luminara remotes), that there is some variation in their sensitivity to the remote.

Some respond easier and at more distance than others. I put many in lanterns with a lot of other things, and those things sometimes interfere with the use of the remote, causing me to get closer or at a different angle to make it work.

I've gotten so I just walk the room and turn off when needed. Some I can reach from  the chair I sit in, others are too far away or too encrusted with other decor.

I DON'T LIKE THE NEW LUMINARA CANDLES.......I LIKE THE TIMER...AND LONGER BATTERY LIFE............BUT I LOVE MY OLDER CANDLES......I DON'T LIKE THE ILLUMATION THAT IS DOWN FROM THE FLAME...CANDLES DO NOT LOOK LIKE THAT................
