Luminara candles

[ Edited ]

Is there another source to purchase w/good pricing?  I'd like to get burgundy, red or green.  I saw the Q offer today but these colors not available.

My solare candles are dying slowly. Very good reviews on these candles.

suggestions thank you?

QVC has the best prices on them.  They are at BB&B but much more.  They are in decor specialty shops, but much more.  Amazon has red ones. eBay has many choices. Wayfair only has green.  When you research you will appeciate the deal QVC gets.  I think there will be some special color sets coming up soon on the Q toward the holiday season as they have done so in the past (maybe red).   If you can wait, it might save you $.

Yes....wait another month and QVC will have them for a better price than you will find elsewhere....

My advice would be to look around some, but wait on Q to get what you want (unless you really fall in love with some in another location).

Q most generally has more color choices than other places, their return policy for damaged or defective items is really easy (returns on some less known internet sites you might buy from might not be so great), and if you buy, usually after September 25th, you have a return policy until January 31st, so lots of time to make sure they are going to work for you.

Not sure if you have tried Mirage by Candle Impressions or not, but I've purchased many of them, and actually like them better than Luminara, because over the last couple of years, they offer much better prices, and the quality and variety of the wax and colors are much better. I just think that overall, their colors and textures on the wax (not a fan of a house full of 'smooth' glossy finished candles, and that is a lot of what Luminara has done lately) are much richer and elegant.

With the holidays coming there should be a number of the colors you are looking for, come up here at Q. Last year I bought some Mirage burgundy, and they are so rich and deep in color. This year I bought some green that are simply stunning, in a rustic finish.

I have certain Luminara I love (most that didn't come from here, but some primitive ones I got locally), but if I had to say which line had more variety, colors, better performance and battery life it would be the Mirage. Their flame effect isn't as manic as the Luminara, and I actually prefer Mirage's more subdued flicker. Both have the ugly plastic flame when unllit, so same thing either way there.

But all that rambling is only to suggest that with the holidays coming, QVC should be offering a lot of great sets and colors, and if it were me, I'd (try to!) be patient and wait it out and see what comes here. You'll most likely get better colors and better prices regardless of which brand you choose.

@Mominohio

well wish I had read your reply earlier! I ordered the 4-luminara set late last night in ivory (not my 1st choice though).

Today I went to HL to get plate rack & they now carry Mirage candles.  Very good selection of colors.  This week they aren't 50% off so I'll keep watching til they come on sale again.

I rarely look at the candles in HL, but you can bet I will now! Hope our store has a good selection too. And I will wait for the sale as well, never pay full price at HL for anything!

@Spurt

Believe it or not when I go in HL I try to stay focused ...but this time I had to go to the very back of the store & I saw the huge candle display.  I only saw Mirage - I'll check tomorrow (🙄) I bought 2 plate rails that are much too heavy for the area, so I need to return them.

Thanks for the info I'll look.

Oh I totally understand if you don't stay focused at Hobby Lobby it is so easy to get distracted.....................

When I was there a couple weeks ago, I dont remember if the Luminara had different colors available or if they were all ivory. I did notice pillars, tapers, and tealights from Luminara....at least in my store here.  I did notice Mirage in turquoise and burgundy.
