The stonework is beautiful.   The space reminds me of the old monasteries turned into wineries in the Napa and Sonoma  Vlys.  To me, it's more of a commercial space.

Perhaps a subtle touch of color with accessories would warm it up.

I find all the stone very overwhelming.  I, also, dislike the ceiling beams.

Guess I don't like any of it.

Re: Lots of Stone

I don't like the floor pattern.  I do like the color pallette of gray, taupe.  Too many throw pillows on the sofa (no room to sit comfortably).  Also, the hanging light fixtures are too small for the size of the room.

I like it, but it needs some color.  I would put some bright colored furniture and decorative items.   All the neutral beige is ho hum and it blends into one big blob of boring.

I like it.

I'm wondering if it's just the facade of stone or is it true thick blocks of stone.  That could make a difference as far as *warmth* I would think.

Looks cold and snowy out the windows.  Am thinking that the owners don't *fret much* over heating bills.

No fireplace?  Seems odd, doesn't it?  Maybe it's not pictured.

Yes. I wondered that myself. It looks real in the photo. Of course, up close, it may not. If it is faux, that causes me to dislike it even more.

I like the stone and some of the furniture....but too much going on and too cluttered with furniture.....

Looks like a hotel / lodge.

What do you think of this room?

I can appreciate all the work that went into this room, especially regarding the stone work, but it’s not my style.

There’s way too much stone for me; one wall would be enough. The space itself is too large & open, and the high ceiling makes it appear cavernous to me. I don’t like the ceiling beams. There’s also too much white & grey. The tan stone gives it some warmth, but I still need more warm colors. I like the green touches of the plants.

I like the stone and the room but I think the beams are too ornate. Basic beams or no beams would look nicer IMO.
