I have to say, I do not at all get placing lamps on the dining room table !! I mean, they're pretty lamps, but it makes no sense to me...

I totally agree.  Why the lamps when there is a light fixture right above the table? They are also not the type of lamps that should go on a dining room table. They look like living room lamps.

hope no one trips over the lamp cords!!  the floor length tablecloth looks like it would be uncomfortable...hope i don't get invited to dinner!!

Way too much blue for me. The blue cushions and lamps would be enough for me. I would want a neutral wall color, floor, and curtains. I agree that the lamps on the dining table are strange there. I would put them on the buffet by the beautiful windows.

I love this room ~ bold and interesting choices!!!!!!!

It's very unexpected and I really appreciate that ~ I don't always care for the "cookie-cutter" designs that seem to be everywhere lately!

The lamp placement is "different" but I wouldn't dismiss it until I tried it myself
