Looking for heavier weight sheets

Hello Friends!  I'm on the hunt for heavier  weight sheets.  I've bought several sets over the past year and they are very light weight.  The higher thread counts still are very flimsy.

Any suggestions?  I'm not opposed to QVC brands.  Thanks!

I like Costco's 680 thread count sheets -- substantial and feel like silk. I find them comparable to Macy's Hotel Collection sheets but much less expensive.

I have heard from others about their sheets.  Maybe it's time I give them a shot!

Love Lane Linen. Very substantial.

(Catch a sale. They occur frequently.)

Do you know if they are all cotton or a blend?  TIA

Sheet options can be strange. I just saw a bottom "grounding" sheet online. It plugs into the grounding prong in an outlet, and supposedly has health benefits. I was meaning to check the Wellness forum to see if they've ever been discussed.

Macys either Hotel Collection or Charter Club.  On sale right now.  For example, Charter Club Sleep Luxe 100% cotton 800 thread count is half off.  Hotel Collection 680 thread count Supima cotton is 40% off.  Lots of deals there.

Not to hijack....

There was a discussion in Wellness a while back regarding the practice of grounding. It's sometimes called earthing.

The idea is walking barefoot in grass or sand. It does have proven benefits. Electric sheets, maybe not so much.

Re: Looking for heavier weight sheets

My fave sheets content is---55-60% cotton and the rest is polyester. Now thread count is as follows---when you buy a 400 tc or a 1200 tc--that means the percentage of cotton which is the thread count-- is in that % of cotton -- unless it is 100% cotton. And polyester is NOT micro fiber ---which I hate. Polyester helps with not wrinkling, durability and ease of care, however that can be too hot  for hot sleepers. I have a couple sets of sheets I bought from JCP 20+ years ago at least--that are still in great shape. Also I have 5 or 6 sets of sheets so I don't use the same ones all the time. They are prob a medium weight. Had some uppity 100% cotton--1200 tc sheets I bought from shop hq--those stupid things got holes in them not more that a year later!!
