I'm sure the view is beautiful at night.  I would love this for a second home but not my forever home.  I would long to see some grass and mountain or ocean views eventually.. But I would certainly enjoy this while I was there.

Setting by the fire and enjoying a good book or surfing on the ipad at night would be nice. Especially if it was snowing or a starry summer night. I would hope for some kind of blind to be available.

Oooh, I like!  I would install power blinds that move up from the bottom for privacy but still let in light from the top.

Man plans. God laughs.

I found quite a few more pictures of this loft that I'll try to get around to posting. After seeing more of the place, overall, the decor doesn't wow me, personally, but it's not egregious either and some areas are more appealing than others... This loft appears to be quite large... Some of the many windows throughout are curtained and it appears that some are not...

It's okay, but not for me because it is too cold and dark.  I do love the view and bet it is pretty at night.  However, I don't care what kind of film you put on the windows, I would still feel like I was in a fishbowl.  I need drapes.

Sometimes the adjustable blinds are actually inside 2 sheets of glass in the windows.  A remote usually is how to adjust the blinds from fully open to shut and dark.   I would still want a protective opaque film on the windows.

The inside can be "warmed up" with furniture and accessories .. pillows, a decorative throw, etc.  It can be made into a really comfortable sanctuary, right in the middle of the city.  No long daily commute!
