It is not my personal style, but I still like it very much.  I would be terrified to drink or eat anything while sitting on those very light beige (or winter white?) sofas, though.  Some art is needed over that fireplace to distract the eye away from the not so pretty buildings outside of that windowed wall.

@Jersey Born  I've surely seen lofts I prefer to this one, which is a bit too industrial for me and there's not much there to smooth out the rough edges... I will, though, give them kudos for including a fireplace!!

Very nice.  But do you think there is any kind of window covering?

It's very well done. I am not a big window fan. I would never be comfortable. I would feel somebody is watching me all the time. I love the colors of the room. It looks inviting.

@ValuSkr  Even enlarging the picture, I'm not seeing any coverings, but there could be something concealed by the large pipe or duct or whatever it is... There could also be a film on the windows so that those inside can see out but no one outside can see in.

I love all the space, so much room to decorate!!!  I do like privacy though and I would have to have a window treatment  on those huge windows.  I like the city so it is a lovely sight and  feeling  for me.  I would however, have color, not a fan of black and white.

@stevieb

Where is this?

My guess is there's a film on the windows that prevents seeing inside the loft for total privacy, but what if you want to close out the light?

Love it!! It looks like there are blinds that can be lowered from the top of the window for privacy.

I like it. I've always wanted to live in a loft in a downtown area for a few years though I wouldn't want to settle there long term.
