Re: Lisa R's mercury glass birds

Why did I look? *sigh* They are the cutest little birdies ever. I don't have a use for ornaments, though. I love birdies.

Maybe I could get some and put them in the ficus? Smiley Happy

Re: Lisa R's mercury glass birds

Ha! Sorry about that. If you're old like me you probably had at least one ficus, back in the 80s when we all had an apt or house full of house plants. I have one now because he was a rescue. Maybe some ornaments would suit him, since I don't do christmas trees. Smiley Happy

But I'm pretty sure I DO need some of these majorly cute birdies.

Re: Lisa R's mercury glass birds

Thanks for the heads up, Susan Louise! Last year I bought three sets of each color ~ yep, three sets of each! I kept the red ones out all year! I have a few on top of our china buffet clipped to an evergreen garland, the others are on an artificial Christmas tree I keep out year-round. I love to decorate with anything nature-inspired, especially birds! Can't wait to see the new colors ~ I bet they'll be beautiful!

Re: Lisa R's mercury glass birds

I got the Gold & Silver birds last year and I just love them. I've gone on Wait List for the pearl without even seeing them, but I know they will be lovely and they'll sell out fast. I found so many places to use them, wreaths, garlands, small tabletop trees and of course the big trees. They'll clip onto a lot of things .

FABULOUS IDEA!! I have 2 ficus, one is small and the birds would be perfect!! You could use the pearl all year!!!
