My grandson is moving into a new house soon and the closets are mighty dark.  Do you have any suggestions about a 'non wiring' lighting solution for this?  Maybe something that is activated by motion?   Thanks.

Put motion lighting in the search bar. There are some options there for indoor use. HSN has something, also. Pretty sure Home Depot or Lowe's would also have somthing, too.

I bought a not so fancy fridge because it was all I could afford at the time and it diddn;t have a light in the freezer section so I installed a motion sensor puck light.   It's works great.

I have both motion sensitive puck lights and adjustable high lumen lights rectangle shape a little bigger than a deck of cards those are my favorite, light is super bright and has a dimmer switch.  12.99 for 4.  Got all of them on Amazon.

PS I also have the dimmer lights on my pantry door as the pantry is 2' deep and I can't see in the back. They attach to the door with velcro and I pull them off to shine in the back of the pantry and then put them back. My closet ones are on either wall not the door.  Also have them on my cabinet door under the sink.

Google "mr beams"  

They have many types of wireless lighting...some with switches and some motion sensored.

I use them all over my house and carport!

I did this one in a small closet.  STILL not enough light to tell blue from black!
