The individual parts seem OK for what they are, but as a whole they don’t make it.  No unifying element.

 

I’d take the:

bed w/ linens

the quilt on the left

bench

interesting mirror on Rt table

small blue prints

 

and start over using them as a base, playing somewhat off of the colors in the bench, but keeping the open, feel.

 

It is a room of contrasts, large airy space, small clumps of small things.

I don’t know, or care squat about scale.   I like the room, the bed minus pillows, and the desk.   Everything else must go.

I like most of the room.  But, not the light fixture, nor the style side tables or desk.  I would want something a bit more up to date style.
