Now that's nice!

eta: though I do agree with so many of the comments here-the black lamps, the rug though pretty a tripping risk, open windows-bugs and birds and the pillows!

The pillow comments are like the progressive guy who teaches people how to unbecome their parents-"you have too many pillows. There is no place to sit"
 lol!

But when I look at it, it looks so comforting, welcoming, and, refreshing and not that typically overly formal and stuffy decorating.

I like it. I would change a few things, but all in all I like the space. I know I'm in the minority, but I hate open windows. Once it gets warm my ac goes on, and stays on until fall.

This looks comfortable to me. Yes, I would remove the rug and some pillows and call it a day...

I am not allowed to open my windows per doctor's orders.  I sufffer with allergies both indoor and outdoor.  So open windows in the spring or fall are out.

But I would also have a problem opening a window without a screen.  I keep thinking of the insects that would flow in.

There are some elements of the room I like but I am so tired of neutral rooms ---dull and boring and a bit depressing !!!!!!! This room cries o4ut for a bit of color. And I don't like the furry rug.

Re: Let The Breeze In And Enjoy

Typically, I'd like a room with somewhat weathered exposed brick but this one doesn't do much for me. Some of the furnishings and accessories are attractive, though some are nothing special, but the overall impact is of a bit too much going on.

@jubilant I like the window, curtains, and even the white sofa (I am not sure how comfortable it is but I like the color), but I can see my next concussion when trying to navigate the floor.  Too much stuff on the floor and coffee table and too many pillows on the sofa.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@jubilant

This room is a lovely, comfortable looking space.  I love the window & furnishings (although, not practical in a pet home).   Just not sure I would want brick walls forever and not tire of them.

Re: Let The Breeze In And Enjoy

Someone took the advice to "add texture" just a little too far in this room.
