The scenery is beautiful.  The lodge is on the dark side.  Lighter colored sofas would help like a Pottery Barn big sectional.  I don't like dark, gloomy decor.

I like the lodge but I would change the decor.

I love that lodge, but hate brown/tan furnishings.  It looks so gloomy. One green lamp in a sea of dirt colored everything is not enough color for me.

I'll take that turquoise urn in the bottom right corner.  Would love to be there right now.  Probably a ton of snow.  Generally I'm not a fan of huge cavernous rooms.  They're not cozy.

@Carmie  I agree it could use an infusion of some color and perhaps to be lightened up a bit, though I find the brown leather sofas with the nicely shaped backs to be pretty. I'd perhaps have opted for different tables and chairs... And although the rug is pretty I might have opted for one with more of a colorful background... I do think the bones of the structure are beautiful...
