Always a liquid, I do most of the laundry in cold water.  And it has to be fragrance free, so either All or Tide, whichever is on sale or with a coupon.

I started using all free and clear due to the strong smells the other detergents have.  I hate smelling like laundry detergent. I tried many but they all are just to nasty strong.

I always use liquid and I tend to use All but I switch to different brands.  Whatever I use has to be fragrance free.

My sister was horrified to learn that I use Dollar Tree Detergent (and Bleach), so she bought me a jug of Tide...

My Mom only used Tide. So I only used Tide. Then for reason, long forgotten, I used another detergent. Saw no difference, it did as nice a job as Tide. So I buy whatever is on sale.

In fact someone on this board mentioned that she was pleased with Awesome (Dollar Store) Pre Wash Stain Remover. I bought it and compared it to Tide Stain Release. I thought the Dollar Store product did better. But now I can not find Awesome Pre Wash Stain Remover. My Dollar Store no longer carries it.

ECOS or Seventh Generation free & clear. These companies are cruelty free. Neither test on animals.

I use Nellie's Suds powder from Costco (online only) and a home made concoction booster, equal parts Borax,Oxyclean and baking soda.  Works good on my husband's sweaty golf cloths and I put about 1/2 cup white vinegar in the rinse.

I really love Happy Place from Beekman's, but is pricey!
