Since I was off this site for quite awhile, I expect you all have discussed this topic. I was looking at You-Tube for candle reviews on Homeworx and Bath and Body Works and some fall decor started showing. Of course I clicked on them, because anything with decorating catches my eye. I could not believe all the crafters that are doing things with Dollar Tree items. I am not really a crafter, but they really had some great ideas and fairly easy to copy. I had been wondering why our Dollar Tree store seems so sparce a lot of times and now I know why they have build a GIGANTIC Dollar Tree warehouse about 30 miles from me. They say 300 semi trucks leave every day with a haul. Business must be good and maybe all these crafters have helped. I can see teachers using the supplies even for classes. So today I took one of their signs that says Home-Sweet-Home and added some brighter color the the designs, painted the back cardboard with brown and will have my husband cut a board for the stake since it is cardboard. A good coat of protection and it will be perfect to put in a pot on the covered front porch and will look like I made it out of old boards. So glad I found that site to inspire me.

In the past couple years I have really grown to like Big Lots.  I've gotten lots of seasonal decor items there recently for great prices. If something breaks I'm not out a lot of money.

Its also a great place to get furniture for a reasonable price.  I was in there looking for something and I heard a customer tell an employee they had just purchased the same couch from a furniture down the road for $300 more and boy was that customer mad.
