A few weeks ago I posted about the then wonderful Sonoma 3 wick candle I had purchased from Kohls. It had a wonder throw and even burn. Well I am now half way thru the candle and it won't burn at all. The wicks extinguish themselves within a half hour and there is no throw. Back to Bath and Body Works for me!

@redbird, were the wicks trimmed too low? It's always a challenge for me to trim them just right -- not too low, not too high. I've "dug down" into the wax to release some of the wicks and sometimes that revives them to be able to burn all right. Good luck!

I am currently using a q tip to remove excess melted wax from around the wick. They were trimmed to a little over a 1/4 inch each time. The wick itself is burning diffently ...used to form a sort of bloom on top...no longer does that. very strange and annoying

@redbird That is too bad, nothing worse than spending good money on a candle to have it fizzle out like that.
I have never burned a Sonoma Candle, but sorry about your bad luck with them......

@redbird Kohls has a 180 day return policy. I'd return it as defective, even if you have to talk to a store manager if Customer Service doesn't have the authority to take back a used item.

@redbird Are you the one that posted about the Mahogany & Ceder Candles?
I did buy 3 of them after someone posted about them at Kohls.
They are wonderful smelling. Just the right amount of scent, but the wicks are weird. My aren't going out, but they don't like to be lit (Lighted?).
They sputter & go out.
Once I get them buring they have been okay.
I would return the one that you have.
