Kitchen valance

I am in need of a solid kitchen valance and can't find anything on line. I need something in a soft orange color which is very difficult. I went to a fabric store yesterday and the material was 25.00 yd. needed atleast 3 yrds. 200.00 labor. If I wanted a balloon valance it would take double the yardage. I am talking about a simple valance for a average kitchen window. I wish I could sew. If anyone knows of any good sites to check out please let me know, thanks.
