Hi shop--You can't go wrong with the brand you've chosen--it is a beautiful quality product. My daughter has this, and she could have anything she wanted! The painted finish maple is a very popular choice with good reason! Some companies just create headaches for us with frequent errors, because then the consumer is upset and angry at us! I'm sure everything will go smoothly, but if for some reason there is a hitch, don't panic--your cabinet supplier will take care of everything!

I'm so sorry that the relationship with your designer is less than stellar! She should be like your kitchen doctor, and have a good rapport with you, and you should be able to feel complete confidence, and be able to ask questions as well as express your concerns and preferences freely!

If you should ever decide sometime in the future that you want to paint the cabinets, I'd suggest having the doors sprayed off-site by a professional, for a factory finish look. Every time we're watching HGTV and someone is slapping at the cabinet doors with a paintbrush, my husband just shakes his head and mumbles "oy"!
