Does anyone know of a good non-skid about 2 1/2 x 5 rug for the kitchen sink area? I have looked on QVC but cannot find one. Thank you.

Bed Bath and Beyond has a lot to choose from. They have some cushioned one's if you like those too. I've seen them in the area of placemats.

I bought one from Groupon that had a memory foam backing that stuck like glue to my kitchen floor. It was really hard to peel off when I mopped but that thing stayed in place. I put it in my powder room as it was too dark of a color and showed all the crumbs and stuff from the kitchen prep. It's a flat pile that you can sweep with a broom or vacuum. Don't have a brand tho. But you can google it.

The non-fatigue mats can be expensive, even at BB&B.

I got a really nice non fatigue mat recently at Sam's for $20.

I found that no matter what type of area rug I used in the kitchen (my floor is tile in there), it would slide around. I'm not very graceful so I had a hard time.

I finally just went to Gel Pro mats. I have four of them in my kitchen and they work a lot better for me.

Be careful what you put on your kitchen floor. Latex backed throw rugs can leave a yellow stain on vinyl and wood flooring.

I had one Gel Pro mat from BB&B, expensive and it slid around. I can't tell you how many close calls I had with that thing, so now I'm finding the one from Sam's at least stays put.
