Oh, wow, the first thing I would do is get rid of all the junk sitting aroung, especially in front of the window at the end of the room!!  Clutter would make me crazy!  Chandelier is awful and I could never live with that roof and all those windows.  Like the range, hood and floor, tho.

It would make a -- grand estate greenhouse -- much better than a kitchen.

Re: Kitchen Sunroom

[ Edited ]

It's unique and different...a bit cluttered for my taste. And thinking what a nightmare it would be to keep those windows clean!  And to keep the room cool in the summer and warm in the winter would be a challenge even if the windows and skylight was insulated...

What a nice space, but I'd want the ceiling enclosed. I don't like this combination kitchen/conservatory at all. There are more than enough windows surrounding this lovely room to make the open ceiling completely unnecessary.

I love this space.

I have friends who occasionally hire window washers for their very high placed windows and skylights.

I know, it would be a hassle, hiring them to clean the indoor side.

I really like the space - nice cabinetry, flooring, ceiling fixtures & loads of natural light.  I would probably add in some valences, maybe with blue/yellow & instead of those plants, replace with smaller plants with flowers.

I'm unsure about the far end (sunroom) - can't see everything well enough, but it does look very cluttered.  Tone it down a bit.

Apparently this person couldn't decide wether they wanted a kitchen or a solarium.  The combination doesn't work for me, it's alot of space not wisely utilized, in my opinion.  It's just a glorified galley kitchen.

No NO NO!  The sunlight would be WAY too much for me, I'd have a constant headache, wouldn't want to hear the hail breaking glass, and the cloud/sun light/darker shadows would be awful.

AND how would you clean it?  From the outside especially?

I like it for someone else's house! I have a kitchen with an abundance of natural light; there are time frames in which I either 1-avoid the kitchen at all cost or 2- be prepared to clean because every speck of dust, crumb, streak on stainless  etc shows up.

I think it's gorgeous. The one end does look a bit too cluttered for me but it is pretty.

As long as the Window Washers are booked to keep those windows clean I am in!
