Very nice adjacent spaces. Not usually a fan of dark counter tops but they work here. I like an eating area in or near the kitchen. This looks like it might have been two somewhat separate spaces, now open to each other via the large proscenium like opening. Looks like a wonderful butler's pantry to the rear too. Think the table and chairs are very pretty.

I like that kitchen!

 

I have always wanted an eat in kitchen. Our house was build early 70's...so we have a decent size dining room, it is used only on the holidays IF we have a sit down meal...such a waste of space.
