Good morning @jubilant

For me, this room is refreshing, while still festive enough for Christmas.  I appreciate the simplicity of the display.

Aside from that, I'm not a fan of that busy patterned area rug.  Also, if the seating area isn't permanent (but only for holiday placement) it's a tad too crowded.

Thank you for sharing & have a pleasant weekend everyone.

Re: Keeping It Simple

@jubilant Waaaay too bland for me, don't like all white furniture and I frankly think the paint color is awful.

OK, I am stealing the idea of filling my dough bowl with colored ornaments as pictured on my coffee table/ottoman.

Yes!  I have my big dough bowl in the kitchen filled with apples right now.  This picture made me want to fill it with Christmas  ornaments instead and set it on my coffee table in the great room.

It’s definitely simple, but not colorful enough for me. I would add more red and gold with the green. I prefer fuller trees with ornaments on them instead of in a bowl. There’s too much white furniture. I’m not a fan of the distressed chest as a coffee table.

Very pretty @jubilant ! Definitely closer to how I decorate (minus the painting)...

Really pretty, @jubilant ,  serene, yet just festive enough, and I thoroughly enjoy the art!

Yes, I like the simplicity of the decor in this room.

Nothing about the furnishings in the room fits me.   I could never live with that much white in my house, let alone in one room.
