Sorry, QVC, but your prices on Jim Shore are too high plus shipping and handling. I was able to get a Jim Shore Easter Basket on amazon.com for 28.99 plus free shipping and handling, which is half of what you are asking for the very newest Easter Basket on your show. An Easter Basket is an Easter basket. So what if it isn't the very newest one. To me, it's the price that counts.

Hobby Lobby has very similar pieces for half the price. Don't buy this stuff thinking it'll be worth more in the future.

I always search various sites for his pieces. I have bought more on eBay in the past couple of years than anywhere else - all brand new. However: I didn't buy the ""Arctic Greetings"" piece when it was available at full price and I am kicking myself that I didn't. It is understood that JS pieces will not increase in value - some of them are so pretty that I cannot help myself!

Three words for you: Mass produced imports. And NO, it is NOT worth the price.

A few years ago I got started on his Santas Around the World. My youngest son gave me one for Christmas. Well, of course, then I had to have all of them (one of my obsessions - having the complete set). So I have all of those, both normal size and the ornaments. Plus I did buy a lot of his ornaments, which I like very much. But I am stopping myself from buying anything of his that is not Christmas related. I am supposed to be de-cluttering at my age, not going the other way! And yes, all made in China.
