I was browsing the internet looking for lit porcelain items, and came across this: Porcelain Angels With Instruments

Interesting how much they look like H205839.  In the video for the item, the rep from Kringle Express says that Jill went to them and asked them to design these for her.

Peter, I get the Gumps catalog and find some lovely items however they are rather expensive.  Your post above is a prime example of how expensive other websites can be. This group has really taught me to look for the best pricing on something I want to bring into my home.

I have Jill's angel's on my wish list as I am undecided about how I am decorating this year.

QVC has enough buying power that they can go to manufacturers and give them a model and ask them to change it to suit their needs.

This is a prime example of a knock off. They do it with jewelry all the time. The host finds something in a catalog or the buyers find it at a trade show and they change it for their needs.

This is not a bad thing, because they usually take something that was very expensive and make it affordable.

When someone says they designed it, it is unlikely that they sat down and created it from scratch!

@PeterDM,  I have these angels, (H205839) and they really are pretty and well made.  I'm planning to use them with a Roman nativity that I bought a few years ago.
