@house_cat  When she first said she was going to do it like this I thought it may be too much color but she did it just right.Touches of orange but not too much. Softer shades of the greens, oranges and golds. More like you see in nature - not bright garish shades. There are a lot of shelves along the walls between the windows so she has books interspersed with decor items and framed pics. Then the lower shelves are filled with bins made of wicker. sigh, I love her place.

Just the thought that it was a school library makes me happy... can you imagine all the happy memories that were made there?  I so loved my school library and it sounds like she's done a wonderful job making it her own.
