Maybe if it was just on top of the island and not down the sides and if there were a few things like canisters on it. I absolutely hate the gold fixtures.

Like the concept of the waterfall counter top, just not this particular one.   Might like the flooring from what is visible.

Way too modern and stark I guess to make "the island" the focal point of the kitchen...But OH MY....JUST NO!!!
