Re: Is This Breakfast Nook a Bust?

I like the chairs, table and pillows.  The wall decor is a miss for me.

I don't care for it, it looks uncomfortable and too busy.

There are elements here I definitely I would not have. I do like the colors used but a few patterns I'd change.

Oh and that half-body wood carving on the stack of books while I'm EATING - NO!

Ooh, no - I can't have my first cup of coffee in this room - too busy.

It doesn't look comfortable or inviting at all, I don't like the color scheme, and busts are a bust for me.

I like the look (most of it) but except for the table and chairs, it is screaming "home office" to me and NOT Breakfast Nook.

wow @lolakimono usually you have better things!  are you a decorator, or just a style aficionado?

@NYCLatinaMe

Not a decorator, but I like to look at how others decorate.

I try to find images that are unique because of the colors, furniture, accessories, or usage of space.  Some of the images I really like, and would consider incorporating into my space, while others I find ghastly.

@lolakimono   There is nothing in this nook that would make me want to eat there.  Not relaxing at all.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
