It looks very '70's to me.  My mom had a similar color scheme in our den.

I really don't like this room. Sorry, but I don't care for the color combo, or the wall decor, and there are too many pillows. the rug is ok to me, but not with this decor. The tables are ok, but don't care for the couch or chair........
