Insurance Advice ~ Home and Car Bundle

We have been with an insurance company for over 30 years - house and 2 cars. We are about to refinance and the refinance rep looked at our insurance specs and said our insurance coverage was on the high side. She gave us a name of a person who handles insurance. Long story short, this new person checks out other insurance companies and tries to give us the BEST RATE. I am loyal and torn. I get good service, had some recent claims with no hitch. I don't know if over the years our present insurance company has served us with higher rates as well as good service just because they felt we would never switch. Should I pursue the unknown.

Anyone out there who have had an experience either as an insurance agent or a homeowner. I am hoping someone will have the usual excellent advice through experience.
