I like the fireplace.  I would need window coverings.  Can't stand open, gaping windows w/nothing to cover them at night.

Nice!   Would replace the ‘twig’ art with something more colorful, and the mantle with a natural grey timber, and remove the macrame from the light fixture.  Great clerestory windows.

I like it all.  It is very cozy and welcoming.  This is part of the Staircase thread I looked at earlier.

It's bland except for the unfortunate light fixture. That big metal thing on the fireplace looks like something one strikes to announce dinner is served.

Well, our last house had that sofa, a similar rug and a fireplace AND coffee table almost like that, however, it was certainly not as grand! LOL!!!

It even had a lot of windows.  But no, it wasn't along those lines as sophisticated. It was a high ceiling but not nearly that high or didn't have a light fixture like that.  Oh the dust!
