Re: If Little Red Riding Hood Had a Kitchen...

Our laundry room has red counters. I like red.

This is OT: When our son was married they were married on Hallowe'en and asked all invited to come in costume. DH and I came as Red Riding Hood and the wolf.

I like red so much DH will sometimes call me "red".

If we all had the same opinion or everyone was the same. the world would be a very boring place!

Re: If Little Red Riding Hood Had a Kitchen...

I think it is cute!  And the red is carried through into what looks like a family room at the other end.  The red & white is cheery & bright.  Love that stove!  I would take that instantly!  Would like to see a picture of the other side of kitchen too.  The 2 separate islands with the opening in between and the 2 tone different height island counter top in distance on far right is a nice idea.  The opening between the islands is great to get to other side of kitchen which would definitely save lots of steps rather than walking around one huge long island.  My friend has a 10 foot granite island with counter height seating for 6 on one side & 1 on each of the ends, and storage cabinets & drawers all along other side, but it is just too much to keep walking around to go from refrig to stove to sink.

Is this an apartment or house? It looks so small.

@Group 5 minus 1  This looks like a galley kitchen in a very upscale historic neighborhood, most likely.  Unlike the McMansions, it looks like something like Beacon Hill, Park Avenue, Paces Ferry, St Charles or even the Hamptons.  It could belong to the Harry (Slatkin) or any high end designer.

Good grief no. If I ever did that, which I wouldn’t, but if I did, I’d get tired of ALL of that in about 15 minutes.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: If Little Red Riding Hood Had a Kitchen...

It's much too busy and mismatched for me but I love a red kitchen.  My kitchen is red/white/black.
