This is not my kitchen but this IS my kitchen counter tops. The cupboards are the same color as mine and my sink and faucets look exactly like these. Even the back splash is very similar to mine. Mine dosen't have that one re dark brick included The floors are wide plank wood look tile. I'm trying to get a little bit of French Country into it. The other end of my kitchen is a very dark wood cabinet full of Roosters and Hens.....in the kitchen but not really part of the working area. I don't have a lot of walls that show but what does show is a pretty light to med. green that brings out the hint of green in this granite. I am getting a canister set for Christmas. Not white....I don't like white on these counters. Any ideas??

That is a beautiful kitchen even if not exactly like yours.

@jubilant Have no suggestions for you!! but I do like the countertop. What is the material? I'm looking to replace my black granite with something very similar to what you show.

I would probably do black canisters....but I am not very adventurous! Gorgeous countertops!

This is a picture of the canister set I am getting for Christmas. I don't like them at all on this red cupboard but my daughter tried them on my counter and we both loved them!

Here is a better picture of my canister set. We took a risk on this color. Honestly, I didn't think it would work but they are beautiful on the countertop. Just not sure what to put with them.. Thinking about a cutting board on opposite side to bring some wood in....kind of like mixing old with new but finding it hard to do.

Is it ideas to enhance a French country look you seek? If so, you might want to consider a toile valence at the window. I know you mentioned things for the counters but just an idea. Also, you mention you already have some roosters, and that you are getting new canisters. The canisters pictured are pretty, but don't, to me, add to a country French motif. I'm waiting for the canisters pictured here to come back in stock, though there are others that are similar that are available, including a similar set of cannisters with a black lid. Other country French accents might include a larger copper vessel of some sort on the couner with a pretty dried flower arrangement or used to hold whatever needs holding...I also have a pretty open top cannister with a French street scene that I use to hold large cooking utensils...

I would do grey but since you mentioned the green bits in the granite then that would be the first choice. The compromise color would be metal canisters that are the same shade as your fixtures.
